We're excited to announce that BrandCat now monitors trademark filings from the UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO). This is the latest addition to our growing roster of trademark registries, and it follows right on the heels of our CNIPA (China) integration from last week.
Why UKIPO Matters
The UK is one of the most active trademark markets in the world. UKIPO consistently ranks among the top five global trademark offices by registration volume, accounting for roughly 3% of all trademark registrations worldwide, a significant share when you consider just how many offices are competing for that slice.
Just as importantly, UKIPO has one of the highest grant rates in the industry, with trademark applications succeeding at a rate of around 87%. That means filings made at UKIPO move through to registration quickly and reliably. For brands with any presence in the UK market, that's a fast-moving landscape worth watching closely.

The UKIPO integration provides comprehensive coverage of Chinese trademark data, including:
