Domain Matching

BrandCat automatically detects domain names that imitate your brand, from simple typos and blended words to keyword twists and other deceptive variations.

For example, if your brand is Instagram, you’ll get alerts for domains like TheInstagram.com, InstagramBots.com, GetInstagramLikes.com, or Instagram.xyz.

It even detects alphabet-mixing (homoglyph) tricks such as Aррlе.com vs Apple.com.
In this example, one version uses Cyrillic letters that look identical to the Latin alphabet, making it visually indistinguishable to the human eye but technically a different domain.

Abuse Contacts, Actions & Reports

Each detected domain record includes registrar abuse contacts and hosting provider abuse emails, so you can easily report malicious or infringing sites. When available, BrandCat also shows emails scraped from the offending domain, helping you identify who’s behind it.

If some domains are your own or verified safe, you can hide them from results to keep your dashboard focused. Once you’ve reached out to a registrar or site owner, simply mark it as contacted, BrandCat remembers it, so you won’t contact the same domain twice.

You can also export all results to CSV for sharing or archiving. Regular email reports summarize new matches automatically, sent at a frequency you choose — daily, weekly, or monthly.
